Mandala Frenzy

This week I made it my mission to get rid of some rug yarn that had been gifted to me. No I didn’t make a rug. The balls were too small and the colors odd to make a big beautiful rug for my living room. Instead I went a little smaller.

I found this beautiful pattern from Made-In-K-Town.  And I fell in love. This mandala pattern is beautiful and easy. It’s been great at eating up my rug yarn. I’ve already made eight this week. Two are planned as gifts (the sunflower one and the daisy one) and the little green one is hanging on my door as I type. It’s really hard to say which is my favorite. I love each and every one. It truly is the greatest use of scrap yarn. Plus this pattern is 100% relaxing.

Below is my gallery of mandalas I’ve made this past week. I made at least one a day before or after work. Several balls are still left over, so more mandalas are on the way. šŸ™‚

Seriously, check out the pattern link above. You’ll fall in love with it, as I did, and soon mandalas will overtake your apartment. I already have an idea for an installment in my living room. šŸ™‚

Happy crafting!
